Delta Lace Shawl.



Silky ribbon yarn in a gorgeous paletteof sunrise colors creates a perfect canvas for the elegant delta lace patternin this light and luscious shawl.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 45 inches wide x 30 inches long, excluding edging
MATERIALS
Prism Yams Bon Bon medium (worsted) weight rayon yarn (2 oz/88 yds/57g per hank): 4 hanks sunrise
Size H/8/5mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
GAUGE: 41/2 pattern reps = 4 inches; 3 pattern rows = 4 inches
PATTERN NOTES
Chain-10 at beginning of row counts as first double treble crochet and chain-5 unless otherwise stated.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
SHAWL
Row 1: Ch 11, dtr (see Stitch Guide) in 11th ch from hook (first 70 chs count as first dtr and ch-5), turn. (1 ch - 5 sp)
Row 2: Ch 10 (see Pattern Notes), dtr in first dtr, (dtr, ch 5, dtr) in 5th ch of turning ch, turn. (2 ch - 5 sps)
Row 3: Ch 10, dtr in first dtr, [sk next dtr, (dtr, ch 5, dtr) in next dtr] across, ending with (dtr, ch 5, dtr) in 5th ch of turning ch, turn. (3 ch - 5 sps)
Rows 4-29: Rep row 3. At end of last row, do not turn or fasten off. (29 ch-5 sps at end of last row)
Edging
Working in ends of rows down side, (sc, hdc, dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc) in end of each of next 28 rows, (sc, hdc, dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc, hdc dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc) in tip, (sc, hdc, dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc) in end of each of next 28 rows, working in sts across row 29, sc in each ch and in each dtr across, join (see Pattern Notes) in beg sc. Fasten off.
